Add Support for Another Language in Windows 10

Surfshark 570x180

Another language gives flexibility to the user’s choice of language on the PC. There is no limitation on the number of languages you can use on your Windows 10 computer. Although the default language is English, you can easily change to another language of your choice. Adding another language will change the menus, title bars, other texts to the selected language.

Step 1:

Click on the Start button > Settings > Time & language > Region & language. Then click on Add a language.

Step 2:

Find the language you wish to add and click on it. Some languages, such as Spanish (Espanol) will show different variations and countries for that language. Here, you are free to select a country of your choice.

Step 3:

The language will be added to your list. Windows search for the necessary software components to set up and support your chosen language. To support your language, Windows typically will tell you to download a language pack, which adds all the characters and other attributes for a specific language. You can now use the options button to install necessary files for the selected language. Also, you can select a different keyboard for the new language

Step 4:

Click on the new language and select “Set as default” option to activate it as the default language on your PC.

Step 5:

Always use “Set as default” option to activate any language you have installed on your PC. It is important to know that you can remove any language by clicking on the language and clicking on the “Remove” option. Now let’s say you want to go back to English as the default. Revisit the Region & language option on the Settings screen. Click on the setting for English and click on the button to make it the default. Sign out of Windows and then sign back in. Check out the Start menu and other elements, and you’ll see that they’ve all returned to English. Get Microsoft Windows 10 today.

Life is Beautiful, Enjoy it while it lasts. The clock continues to tick, one day we will close our eyes and nothing (nothing!) will matter anymore.
